Frequently Asked Questions

Will Air Lift 79003, the 15-20 Audi A3 / 15-24 VW GTI Coilover Kit, work with my factory suspension options?
Confirm the complete chassis, drivetrain, adaptive or electronic dampers, front or rear position, wheel and tire package, and every exclusion for the exact part number.

Does this Air Lift Performance part include air management?
Suspension hardware and management are often sold separately. Check the exact included-parts list before planning compressors, tank, manifold, controller, sensors, lines, and fittings.

Will the vehicle need an alignment after installation?
Yes, a professional alignment is required after ride height or suspension geometry changes. Recheck clearance and alignment at the intended driving height.

Can the vehicle be driven at its lowest display height?
Use only manufacturer-approved driving heights and pressure ranges. A show or aired-out position may not provide safe suspension travel, steering clearance, or tire clearance.

Installation Instructions

1. Confirm Air Lift part number 79003, the complete application, and every required supporting component before disassembly.
2. Secure the vehicle at the manufacturer’s specified lift points, unload the suspension as directed, and inspect the frame, brackets, springs, lines, and nearby components.
3. Follow Air Lift’s current instructions for bracket orientation, clearances, routing, fastener sequence, pressure limits, and any drilling or trimming.
4. Inflate and leak-test the system, cycle the suspension and steering as applicable, and verify clearance from tires, exhaust, brakes, driveline, wiring, and bodywork.
5. Torque and align as required, then recheck leaks, pressure, fasteners, and clearance after the first loaded drive cycles.
